The “incubation period” is the time between catching the virus and beginning to have symptoms of the disease. Most estimates of the incubation period for COVID-19 range from 1-14 days, most commonly around five days. If you have corona-virus, someone might need to trace everyone you’ve spoken with over the past 2 weeks!
The eradication of COVID-19 is dependent on finding everyone who might have the virus and separating them from everyone else until they are no longer contagious. So it is VITAL that we keep a record of everyone we speak with… or the corona-virus keeps spreading... damaging our lives and livelihoods.
